NEW HANDMADIE - JAZZII-BEE

Hi Everyone

Wow...2 handmadies in one day, how awesome...

I would like to introduce you to Louise from Jazzii-Bee. Louise made a day of it and came down from Mooloolaba.

Louise makes the most devine and original notebooks. They are fabric covered with plastic and bound. The paper inside the notebook will always match the cover. So, if the notebook is covered with cupcakes and very pink, the paper inside is all sorts of pink paper and envelopes (for your keepsakes). They come in 3 different sizes and are very easy to keep clean with a wipe from a damp cloth. I now have one of these - thanks Louise - and am keen to put it in my handbag. Nothing better than looking great with a beautiful notebook whilst doing the dreaded groceries.

Louise has utilised her space well by using height within her space and loving the baskets to display. Nice one Louise and welcome to Handmade Heaven

I am on a winning streak...

Hi Everyone

Well over the past week, I have been advised that I have won some bloggy comps...This is very exciting stuff.

So, now I am going to share my winnings and plug the awesome bloggers who gave me the chance to win in the first place.

First up a big thanks to SIMONE from BEACH VINTAGE

AMAZING...BIRTHDAY...THANKS :)

Hi Everyone

I just could not help myself and had to sneak a post on the blog in between customers.

As you all know, today is Handmade Heaven's #1 birthday. We celebrated with balloons, face painting, cupcakes, MASSIVE SALE and also a handmade hamper...which will be drawn tomorrow morning....GOOD LUCK EVERYONE.

Today has been amazing. Thanks to everyone who came into Handmade Heaven today, thanks to everyone who couldn't make it but has left a wonderful message and thanks to all of Handmade Heavens "HANDMADIES". THANKS THANKS THANKS. Without any of you, my dream of having my little piece of heaven would not be possible.

What I cooked over the weekend

Hi Everyone.

Ok, so I have been doing well in my kitchen....

Check out these amazing and very tasty things I cooked over the long weekend.

COCONUT BREAD
Thanks heaps to Linda from Lilly Cottage for the receipe.
This was a huge hit with Mitch and Cooper...I have put this one into my fave receipe folder for sure.


PUMPKIN SOUP
I have always loved Mums pumpkin soup and over the weekend, I plucked up the courage to cook it.
Once again, a huge hit at home....




We also got another chook...her name is Stevie G (ok, so hubby wanted to name this one as Cooper and I named the other too...has something to do with soccer...sorry....football!!)

We did some motorbike riding too which was fun...I don't do this anymore as I have had a couple of stackers!! things hurt more as you get older.


The 3 grandkids had a sleepover at Nanny and Poppys house and they had an absolute ball. We did miss the little tyke though. BUT, we stayed at home, rented some DVD's, cooked some yummy pasta (with nuts) and had a couple of alcoholic beverages. Its the little things! Oh and a full night sleep :)


So, we had a very productive and fun weekend...

Thanks for tuning in..I know it doesnt have anything to do with Handmade Heaven, but sometimes, I JUST CAN"T HELP MYSELF...

Can you believe that Handmade Heaven is almost 1.

On Tuesday 16th June 2009, Handmade Heaven opened its doors to the public and what an amazing response. Not only Ipswich, but South East Queensland has certainly embraced Handmade Heaven and what it has to offer. Locally and Interstate Handmadies have taken the next step in showcasing their handmade goodies in a retail environment.

With 70 Handmadies gracing Handmade Heaven's shelves, there is ALWAYS something new and fabulous to choose from. All made with love and boy, you can certainly tell!
Things you can find in Handmade Heaven include:
Handbags, kids clothing and accessories, greeting cards, body products, soaps, journals, clutches, softies, brooches, aprons, homewares, manchester, quilts, nappy cakes, scarves, beanies, teatowels, hats, playdough, art prints, canvases, handtowels, kids toys and soooo much more...anything handmade that you can think of...Handmade Heaven pretty much has it covered.

So, in saying this...on Wednesday 16th June, Handmade Heaven is having a party...

Details to follow, but it will involve balloons, cupcakes (of course), specials and a handmade hamper giveaway....
